WARREN, NJ - Warren lacrosse player Dylan Blekicki with the 2021 Building Blocks Lacrosse ( BBL) club has qualified for the 14U Lacrosse National Championship World Series of Youth Lacrosse (WSYL).
The team qualified by going undefeated and winning the Eastern Qualifier earning a number one seeding. The East Region is comprised of the top 14U boys lacrosse teams from Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.
“I’ve been playing lacrosse with many of my teammates since the fourth grade and as WSYL says 24 teams and 1 Champion - we’re hoping our team can make it to the finals!” BBL Attack Dylan Blekicki said.
The top 24 teams comprised of the 5 US regions (South, West, East, North, Central) as well as an International qualifier advanced to the WSYL Championship series which will take place this year in Gaithersburg Maryland from June 30th through July 3rd, 2021. Media coverage includes: ESPN, Inside Lacrosse, The Lacrosse Network, and Next Level Video with the Championship Game played on July 3rd and broadcast live on ESPN2.
