With support from the Franklin Township Athletic Department, Ken Margolin, and Anthony Brito, Softball in Franklin returned this past summer. A 14U Travel team from Franklin, the NJ Warriors played ball well into the summer months.  Shocking a Highly Skilled South Jersey team in the bottom of the 7th inning managed to reach the semifinals in the Union Summer Sizzler!  The Warriors participated in tournaments in South Plainfield, Ewing, Roselle Park, and Union.   The Warriors continued to practice and play through the Fall and will return to Tournament and League play in the Spring and Summer of 2020.

In the Fall of 2019, FTBL sponsored a Girls Fast Pitch Softball Clinic, twenty-two girls from the ages kindergarten to 7th grade were introduced to Softball and learned basic skills.   Many of the girls made great progress learning Windmill pitching during the free clinic offered.
