Children love to get messy and create. At Art Adventures, we encourage them to explore their creative side as well as the art materials. We do lots of messy art - things you would never let them try at home! Paint, paint and more paint.....emphasis is definitely on the process, but there is always a product to take home. 

2- 3 year old classes start with a song and a story about color mixing, then we swing into our project. We switch materials and tools every few minutes to keep their attention - there’s always something new and unexpected. Half the fun is trying to guess what the finished project will be! Then, weather permitting, we end with a few minutes of outside play. 

4 - 6 year old classes add more fine motor control to the mix and really push the limits of their creativity. We stress how everyones pictures should look different and encourage them to do their art in “their own way”. And weather permitting, we end the class with a few minutes of outside play.

Small classes, only 6 children per class, assure that each child gets the attention they need, as well as the space and freedom to create. Each session brings different projects and techniques, different materials and ideas.
