Joan Dickason is a Certified Holistic Health Coach who offers nutrition and lifestyle guidance to help you shift your behaviors toward healthier habits. She will help you develop a deeper understanding of the foods and activities which work best for you, and implement lasting changes to manage your weight, improve your energy, balance and overall wellness. Instead of prescribing one diet, product or way of exercising, a Health Coach focuses on teaching you to become self-sufficient by observing your body’s response to change, and by building on each success, step by step.
Joan founded Crossroads Nutrition after a long and successful corporate career. She realized that our bodies are not meant to be flushed with stress hormones, and that we can only sustain so much physical neglect before we start to just plain wear out. Her personal journey to heal her chronic pain, and maintain a healthy weight, ultimately lead to her education at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and a career helping others live a more healthful and rewarding life.
Crossroads Nutrition offers individual health coaching either in her office, or by phone. Joan also conducts group workshops covering the full suite of nutrition and lifestyle topics. The programs encourage participants to set and accomplish goals, explore new foods, understand and reduce cravings, increase energy, move more and feel better in their body. They are interactive and informative, and most importantly, they are fun and inspiring!
