Dear Editor:

I just want to update the Paterson community on the great work Paterson Public Schools, volunteers, community stakeholders and faith based leaders are doing to weather this Coronavirus storm.

To date, thousands of meals have been distributed to students. Despite this time of uncertainty, we are working hard, collectively, to make it happen. It's been said that there is no “I” in TEAM. That sentiment remains an actual fact. I don’t want to leave out our amazing teachers who worked hard to put packets together for each student.

Our newsletter delivers the local news that you can trust.

As a member of the board of education and as a community activist, it is important to me that the community is made aware of any progress being made during this time. I am encouraging everyone to stay safe, follow the guidelines of the CDC, federal, state and local government, and to remain calm.

Together we will overcome this pandemic. Together we will rebound. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know.
