MADISON, NJ - Borough officials are encouraging all Madison residents to stay off the roads and indoors. There are multiple downed trees and live wires, they said.

According to officials, there is a widespread power outage. Crews are on scene and responding. 

Residents are asked to reserve calling the Madison Police Department for emergencies only.
