SPARTA, NJ – A Lafayette woman is facing drunk driving charges after driving “all over the road.” On February 24 around 2:45 p.m. Cpl. David Pridham following up on a report of a red Volvo driving erratically, saw Danielle Enman, 33 veer to the right side of the road, grazing a snowbank, police said.

When Pridham stopped Enman he saw the Volvo had “heavy front end damage that appeared fresh,” police said.

Enman said the damage was old.  As police did not have a report of a recent accident, they made a report of the damage, in case a report was made later, police said.

Pridham smelled alcohol in the car and observed Enman appeared to be drunk.  When she completed field sobriety tests, Enman was taken to Sparta Police Department Headquarters for processing, police said.

After breath testing, Enman was charged with DWI, careless driving, failure to keep right and unregistered vehicle.  She was given a court date and released to a sober adult.
