SUMMIT, NJ - The City of Summit Department of Community programs will share some holiday cheer despite the pandemic when it hosts a 'Holiday Tree Pictures' event on December 6, from 3 - 5:30 p.m. At the time of publication, space remained in the 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. time slots.

Due to the pandemic and related health safety protocols, there will be no public tree lighting event this year, however Summit residents can register for a half-hour time slot -- each limited to 25 persons -- wherein they can see the Hilltop City's Holiday Tree up close, enjoy some festive music, and take a socially-distanced, masks-mandatory photo with Kris Kringle.

To register, visit  register.communitypass.net.

Mayor Nora Radest is scheduled to push the plunger and light the town tree at approximately 4:30 p.m.
