LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Friends of the Livingston Library (FOLL) is inviting the public to “Take A Chance on the Library” during an annual spring fundraiser that began earlier this week in recognition of National Library Week and culminates on May 18. This fundraiser offers community members the opportunity to participate in a raffle and silent auction for the benefit of the Livingston Public Library.

This year, the FOLL has nearly 30 items up for auction, including gift certificates to places like Wegmans Food Markets, Paper Mill Playhouse and Window Works as well as packages focusing on an array of topics such as cooking, reading, travel and more. One fortunate patron will also go home with the cash jackpot, or 50% of the proceeds from the raffle ticket sales.

FOLL considers this event a “win-win,” as it not only provides patrons with an opportunity to win such merchandise, but also provides the organization with additional funds that will enable the Livingston Public Library to continue offering a wide variety of programs and services to the community.

In order to participate, stop by the Livingston Public Library at 10 Robert H. Harp Drive or visit the FOLL’s “Take a Chance” website BY CLICKING HERE to see a photo display of auction items, submit bids and request raffle tickets.

Details for the culminating event on May 18 are currently in the works and will be provided as they become available. All winners will be contacted individual and are not required to be present virtually or otherwise for the May 18 event.
