NUTLEY, NJ - With this year's St. Patrick's Day Parade canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we're taking a look back at parades from years past as we get ready for Nutley's best parade next year.

The last marching band may have passed by in 2018, but that didn't stop Donovan Reilly from dancing in the street.

"Calling out around the world, Are you ready for a brand-new beat?, Donovan's here and the time is right, For dancing in the street"

Donovan arrived at the parade with his mom Lisa pushing him in a stroller, but he wasn't going to have any of that. The time was right for dancing in the street as long as the Nutley Police Department still had Franklin Avenue closed off to traffic. With bagpipers within earshot, Donovan had a great time.

Donovan was 1 1/2 years old at the time and had a thing for Cheerios. It is safe to say that he loved parades too.

The TAPinto Nutley team will keep an eye out for him at the next parade scheduled for March 5, 2022.
