MONTCLAIR, NJ-- Started in 1870, DeCamp Bus Lines has been providing transportation to North Jersey residents for 150 years.  Now they join the growing list of local businesses who were unable to withstand the effects of COVID-19.  

The family owned business, based in Montclair, announced this week that due to sustained effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic they will be suspending all service effective midnight August 7th. 

DeCamp services multiple stops in Bloomfield.  The company was unable to secure any PPP funds through the Cares Act and now cites a 90% decrease in passengers since the pandemic started.

Essex County Freeholder President Brendan Gill sent a letter to Governor Murphy today in an effort to seek assistance from the state in order to bring this valuable service back to Essex County residents.
