Morris County will be offering a FREE premier self-guided weekend tour of museums and historic sites called  "The Pathways of History" on May 1st and 2nd. The tour will include over 20 museums, historical societies and sites, eight of which are new this year.

The county will be split in half with the eastern half of the county offering its Open Houses on May 1, 12-4PM and the western half on May 2, 12-4PM. This enables participants to visit the entire county if they so choose.

Themes for 2021 will include Native Americans, Women's Suffrage, and Historic Preservation. The event provides the entire family the opportunity to explore Morris County's rich heritage.

Chatham Township's Historical Society at the Little Red Brick School House at 24 Southern Blvd., Chatham Township will be part of the tour on Saturday, May 1, 12-4PM. Come see our newly found Revolutionary War relics from Giralda Farms Preserve, learn about the Lenape people, the Prominent Women of Chatham Township, our Unique Corn Crib and other historical artifacts.

Please park at Church of Christ across the street and come join us under the big white tent behind the Red Brick School House.

The event will be held rain or shine. We look forward to seeing you.
