CHATHAM, NJ - A contingent of 18 Chatham residents have earned academic recognition by making the dean's list at Bucknell University, highlighting a group that includes academic honor students from Gettysburg College, Elon University, Colgate University, McDaniel College, Kutztown University, the University of Utah, the University of Scranton and Moravian College.

Gettysburg College students from Chatham with semester averages 3.6 or above were recently placed on the Dean's Honor List for the Spring 2020 Semester: Emma Bedell, Charlotte Buckman, Justin Contri, Patrick Cosgrove, and Julia Piness.

Patrick Robert Conte has been named to the Dean’s List for the 2020 fall semester at Elon University. The Dean’s List is composed of students with a grade point average of at least 3.50. Conte is the son of Mr. Robert S. Conte and Mrs. Carrie S. Conte of Chatham.

Clare Curran Bowles has been named to the President's List for the 2020 fall semester at Elon University. The President's List is composed of students with no grade below an A-minus in a minimum of 12 semester hours. Bowles is the daughter of Mr. James L. Bowles and Mrs. Martha C. Bowles of Chatham.

James Wingate Earns Dean's Award for Academic Excellence at Colgate University for the 2020 Spring Semester. Wingate is a Political Science major and a graduate of Chatham High School.

Sean Aul of Chatham has been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the McDaniel College Fall 2020 Dean's List with High Honors, which requires a grade point average of 3.70-3.89.

Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2020-21 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition. The following students from Chatham have achieved dean's list status: Caitlin Barnett, Megan Collins, Brian Cook, Matt D'Antoni, Paul Danenberg, Aidan Davenport, Gillian Fabijanic, Grace Goodman, Emily Gorham, Annika Gude, Liza Heyl, Lexi Huffman, Meggy Mackessy, Lauren McDermott, Emma Sherman, Audrey Washuta, Katherine Witte, and Sarah Wittmer.

Anna Lengner of Chatham has been named to the Fall 2020 Dean's List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for the Dean's List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

Carson Storm of Chatham was named to the University of Utah's Fall 2020 Dean's List. Storm's major is listed as Computer Science BCS and Mathematics BS. Students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher in at least 12 graded credit hours during any one term.

The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2020 fall semester recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better. The Chatham students are: Emma M. Barber, a sophomore women's and gender studies major in the University's College of Arts and Sciences; Madeline J. Hartnett, a freshman early and primary teacher education major in the University's Panuska College of Professional Studies, and  Luke S. Fekete, a freshman accounting major in the University's Kania School of Management.

Moravian College named Chatham residents Taryn Roffina, Nina Salvo and Christopher Wilson to the Dean's Honor List for the Fall 2020 semester. Students who attain a GPA for the term of 3.50 or higher are placed on the Dean's Honor List.
