BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater-Raritan High School will be closed for two weeks, through Jan. 29, after two individuals tested positive for COVID-19, according to a release from the district Sunday.

According to the statement, two people tested positive over the course of this week, and, as per the New Jersey Department of Health Guidance, a school building should be closed for 14 days when two or more cases are identified within a 14-day period across multiple classrooms and when a clear connection cannot be identified.

The school will move to all remote instruction through Jan. 29, and all athletic and extracurricular activities are canceled for the same duration.

Extracurricular activities and athletics will resume Jan. 30, and in-person instruction will resume Feb. 1, unless otherwise noted.

All other schools in the district will remain open as normal.
