BLOOMFIELD, NJ-- Over the past four days, all members of the Bloomfield Fire Department attended a team development training session given by Retired Kearny Deputy Chief Frank Viscuso.  The classes took place at Bloomfield Fire Station 3.

The session, titled Flash Point, is based on his soon to be released seventh book with the same title, draws comparisons between the four most common stages of team development and the four stages of fire.

Viscuso is a highly sought after, internationally recognized speaker who has the ability to move people to action. Over the past decade he has spoken to hundreds of audiences in and outside the emergency service industry on many topics that include leadership, team building, officer development, and customer service. Frank travels throughout the United States and Canada providing leadership and team development training for firefighters, emergency service workers, sales teams, U.S. Armed Forces, the healthcare industry, small businesses and large corporations.

The Bloomfield Fire Department provides 24 hour fire suppression services to the Township of Bloomfield.  The Department also provides first responder medical services.
