Two Arrested for Soliciting Magazines Without Proper Permits

On Saturday May 26 at 4:40 PM, Patrolman Andrew Chase investigated a canvassing complaint on Division Avenue. With the assistance of Madison Police, two male suspects were located on Kings Road. The men were soliciting magazine subscriptions in Madison and crossed over into Chatham Borough without obtaining the necessary permits. JT Turner age 30 of Michigan City IN, and Cornelius Williams age 25 of Peoria IL were charged with Soliciting Without a Permit. Both were released pending further court action.
On May 27, at 10:20 AM, Patrolman Andrew Chase investigated a motor vehicle crash on Main Street. Grant Sadler age 41 of Chatham was attempting to parallel park on Main Street when he struck a parked car. Sadler was issued a summons for Careless Driving.
