I have been busy the past two weeks. I was invited to ECLC Chatham’s 20th Annual Dinner and Auction. It is organized by the parents and staff. I decided to wear a tux that night. There is a cocktail hour, an auction, a buffet dinner and a 50/50 cash raffle. That would buy a lot of biscuits! Coldwater Creek in Westfield held a fashion show.  The models were students, staff, parents and ECLC alumni, even Mrs. Gagliardi, our principal, modeled. Everyone looked beautiful. I was asked to end the fashion show! Everyone was so friendly and happy and kind. We are truly a wonderful  ECLC Family. That’s it for now. I need to go practice for the Spring Concert.

My name is Gino. I am a specially trained assistance dog from Canine Companions for Independence (CCI). CCI is a national, non-profit organization that provides highly trained assistance dogs, like me, to increase independence and enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities. Now, I am a Facility Dog at ECLC of New Jersey’s school in Chatham, N.J., for children with special needs.
