WAYNE, NJ - The Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes concert scheduled for January 26 at William Paterson University has been postponed because the performer has the flu.
The show, sponsored by WFUV, has been rescheduled for February 16 at 8 pm at WPU's Shea Center for Performing Arts
The Jersey Shore's "Rock Royalty" comes to the Shea enter with a legacy that began when co-founders Southside Johnny and Steve Van Zandt began playing together in the early 70's as the house band at the historic Stone Pony. More than one hundred musicians can claim to have been members of The Asbury Jukes, including Jon Bon Jovi, who cited the band as an influence, and the 2012 Jukes are ready to continue the legacy.
