WAYNE, NJ - The Barry Harris Trio will be performing on Feb. 10 at 4 pm at William Paterson University's Shea Center for Performing Arts.
NEA Jazz Master Barry Harris is an internationally renowned jazz pianist, composer and teacher. Influenced by the likes of Charlie Parker and Thelonious Monk, Harris is noted for his similarities to Bud Powell. He has recorded 19 albums as a lead artist, earning him the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. His trio includes Leroy Williams on drums and Ray Drummond on bass.
