Nov. 20: “From Paterson to Mars” at PCCC

PATERSON, NJ – Jackelynne Silva, an Eastisde High graduate who now works as an engineer at NASA, will be speaking at Passaic County Community College auditorium at 3:30 pm on Tues., Nov. 20 as part of the ongoing lecture series in the STEM Innovation program.
Silva, an emigrant from Peru, is a mechanical engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasedena, Ca. She also worked at Lockheed Martin.
The STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) Innovation program is designed to help students make the transition from high school to college.
