PATERSON, NJ - A gunman robbed the money from the cash register of E & D Grocery at 946 E. 19th Street Tuesday night, police said.

The suspect was wearing dark clothing and a mask when he entered the store at about 7:23 pm, police said. He pulled a gun, went behind the register and took the money, stole a celll phone from the 49-year-old woman who was working at the store and then fled on foot, police said.
