Paterson Woman Gets Settlement on Fed Raids

NEWARK, NJ – A Paterson couple are among eight people who will share a $295,000 settlement in a case alleging federal immigration officials illegally raided their homes, according to a story on app.com.
The story said immigration officers barged into Ana Galindo’s Paterson home, interrogated her about illegal immgrants and pointed a gun at her nine-year-old son.
Galindo and her husband, Walter Chavez, are permanent United States residents, the story said.
