PATERSON, NJ - The City Council has approved a $21,960 workers compensation settlement for a municipal employee who hurt her right shoulder, rib and wrist when she tripped while on the job.

Linda Scott, a principal payroll clerk, was injured on September 18, 2008, according to the resolution approved by the council on December 6.

The resolution did not say which city building Scott was in when she hurt herself. The resolution said she tripped over a "loose object" but did not say what that object was.
