$15,500 Settlement for City Hall Fall

PATERSON, NJ - The City Council last week agreed to pay $15,500 to settle a lawsuit filed by a man who fell and injured himself on the front steps of City Hall in August 2008.
John Edwards "slipped and fell on water and debris" on the front steps and fractured his wrist, according to the council's resolution. He also underwent open reduction internal fixation surgery, the resolution said.
