PATERSON, NJ - Benjie Mejia of Paterson, a relief pitcher on Seton Hall's baseball team, was named to the All-Big East third team on Tuesday, according to a press release issued by the school.

Mejia, who played high school ball for Passaic Tech, was the Pirates' closer this year and had nine saves to go along with three wins. His ERA was 2.62.
