AG and Muslim Leaders to Meet Thursday on NYPD Surveillance

The Attorney General plans to meet with New Jersey Muslim leaders on Thursday to discuss the New York Police Department controversial surveillance operations, according to a story on northjersey.com.
Asserting that the surveillance violated people's civil rights, state Muslim leaders have asked Attorney General Jeffrey S. Chiesa to investigate the NYPD's activities in New Jersey in the aftermath of 9/11.
The meeting with Chiesa will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the Robert J. Hughes Justice Complex, according to the story.
