HORTICULTURAL EVENT CULTIVATES GARDENERS

Ardent and amateur gardeners, friends of NJ’s public parks and gardens, and fans of rare and unusual plants, exceptional garden antiques, fine tools and accessories, and distinctive art will delight - in what may be NJ’s most spectacular horticultural event – ‘Earthly Delights …Cultivating the Gardener’. Following a successful premier in 2011, the event returns June 2 – 3, inviting visitors to shop the many distinguished vendors, attend lectures and demonstrations from nationally renowned speakers, relax with lunch in the Hospitality area and tour the spectacular home and gardens of Andrea Filiponne in nearby Pottersville, NJ where the garden extravaganza is held.
Indulge your passion for all things green and growing while helping to support this years’ beneficiary: New Jersey’s Keep it Green Campaign. Their mission is to secure a long-term stable source of funding for the acquisition of open space, farmland, and historic sites as well as the capital improvement, operation, maintenance and stewardship of state and local natural areas, parks and historic sites in New Jersey. This work is guided by the belief that every NJ resident deserves well-maintained, accessible neighborhoods parks, wildlife areas and historic sites.
Admission and Lecture tickets are limited due to space, but are still available on-line along with directions and details regarding the Preview Cocktail Party at www.earthlydelightsnj.com. Admission on Saturday June 2, 9am -4pm and Sunday, June 3, 9am – 2pm is $35. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
