Extreme Energy Solutions Inc., an Ogdensburg company, in partnership with SMART Air Fuel Saver LLC, will be showcasing the SMART Emissions Reducer this weekend at the Fire Expo '12, held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, May 18, 19, and 20, located at the PA Farm Show Complex & Expo Center. The event is to be the host to over 20,000 attendees focusing on technology, vehicles, and innovative practices for first responder units (EMS/Fire/Police).
"We will have an opportunity to expand our presence in the emergency service vehicle sector while assisting the men and women in blue and red to go green while serving their community," commented Samuel K. Burlum, CEO/President of Extreme Energy Solutions Inc., "Our team will be on hand to assist in the educational process of informing municipalities, and first responder units of some of the choices they now have as tools in aiding in conserving financial resources spent on fuel budget, while leaving less of an impact on the environment. We are proud of our product line up that allows for local and regional governments to put valuable resources into other much needed programs than fleet operations and fuel tanks."
Successful ongoing trial programs for the SMART Emissions Reducer include programs for te Winnebago County Highway and Sheriff's Department (Illinois), City of West Palm (Florida), and an ongoing program with taxicabs under the authority of the NYC Taxi and Limo Commission. Other programs include the enrollment of private business and trucking fleets throughout the nation. Many other local governments and business fleets have signed up to enroll in there trial program. Trial programs are 90 day programs that allow for a fleet to try the product for their specific usage. At the end of the program, the fleet determines if the product is a good fit for their fleet and have the choice to continuing installing SMART devices on the rest of their vehicles.
"This will be a great event where we will have the ability to share with first responders what we have already been doing around the country," stated Phil Sherman, Regional Representative and Tech Support for Extreme Energy Solutions Inc., "I am looking forward to represent the company and the product in a market who for some this will be the first time coming in contact with what we have to offer."
A vehicle retrofitted with the SMART device will be on display as well as members of the Extreme Team will be available to answer questions on site of the event.
