HOPATCONG, NJ - Great food, great music, great people and great looking cars made the 2012 Ayers on the Lake celebration at Pavinci Italian Grill in Hopatcong a great time for everyone on Sunday.                                                                                                   

As my fiancée and I first arrived at Pavinci Italian Grill and walked out onto the lakeside deck to the incredible sounds of the Eagles tribute band, “Eaglemania”, we were immediately greeted by Ayers’ Vice President and Company Partner, Tim Boyd and his wife, Billie. Both were excited about the day’s event and the overwhelming turnout of family and friends.

We were then introduced to Joe Levine from PMD Advertising Agency in Boonton. Joe handles the advertising and marketing for Ayers Chevrolet. After talking to Joe, I have a better understanding of what “Ayers on the Lake” is all about.

“It’s a feel good event about giving back to the community and staying in touch with our loyal and dedicated customer base. Today is not about selling cars”, it’s about family, friends and good times for everyone," said Joe.                                                                                                                                      

 Last year, the celebration was so successful with 500 plus guests, Ayers had to relocate the event to a bigger venue and Pavinci Italian Grill was a perfect fit. For the first time in three years, boats from all around the lake pulled up, anchored and enjoyed the music of Eaglemania.

There were upwards of 600 of us enjoying the delicious Italian food, great live music, beautiful restaurant, while admiring the beauty of the lake. Mario Ferra, owner of Pavinci Italian Grill, embraced the event and was ”thrilled to be part of the celebration."                                                                                                                                                                  

The food that Pavinci’s prepared for the buffet was delicious, and I promised owner Mario Ferra that I was looking forward to coming back to sample his regular menu very soon.                                                                                                                          

 Also sponsoring the event was Katz’s Marina, owned and operated by Seth Katz. Tony Cappello, salesman for Katz’s Marina, told us about its two locations (Northwood and Great Cove) and that Katz’s is the number one antique boat dealer in the world.             

 On display in the front parking lot, was a beautiful Bentley Pontoon boat from Katz’s Marina and some of Ayers Chevrolet’s gorgeous vehicles including. a stunning brand new Chevrolet Corvette. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, a brand new, Bright White Chevrolet Camaro came floating into the marina on a barge supplied by AAA Dock & Marine. Now that gives a whole new meaning to Ayers on the Lake.

 Ayers Chevrolet is a family owned business for over 60 years located at 1 Route 46 in Dover, NJ. Owners, Dave and Fred Ayers have been successful because of their strong belief in going the extra mile for their customers. This is evident as Ayers is one of the largest service facilities for GM and Chevrolet vehicles in the Northern NJ area.
