Police Investigating Damage to Fence

4-12-2012 – Patrols responded to a Springfield Avenue residence at 10:50 PM on a report of individuals breaking a wooden fence located in the front yard and then observed them run from the property. If anyone may have witnessed this incident please contact the New Providence Police. The detective bureau is investigating this report.
4-12-2012 – Detective Stephen Drown arrested Angela Hayes, 42, of Newark with obtaining a prescription drug by fraud. The arrest was made after an investigation from a report filed with the police department on 4-2-2012 that indicated that she was picking up prescriptions utilizing false information and stolen prescription scripts from a doctor’s office in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. She was released with a pending court date at the Union County Superior Court.
4-13-2012 – Patrolman Joseph DiParisi charged Louis Nassaney, 53, of Clifton with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended vehicle registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle on Diamond Hill Road. He was released with a pending court date.
4-13-2012 – An Osborne Avenue resident reported that someone had broken his front door window frame appearing that someone was attempting to enter the residence. Nothing was reported missing and no entry was gained. The detective bureau is investigating this report.
4-13-2012 – A Springfield Avenue resident reported that someone had cut the rear screen door and observed two pry marks on the entry door. Several items on the deck of the home were also relocated. Nothing was reported missing and no entry was gained. The detective bureau is investigating this report.
4-17-2012 – Patrolman Andrew Diamond charged Patrick Damiano,42, of Washington Township with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia. The charges stem from an investigation during motor vehicle stop on South Street for equipment violations. Mr. Damiano was released with a pending court date.
