On Sunday, June 3, seven young people were received into full membership at the United Methodist Church in Madison.  The 7^th and 8^th grade students met weekly during the school year with Student Assistant Pastor Amanda Rohrs-Dodge, Director of Christian Education Peggy Merrick and other members of the staff and congregation. The confirmands learned about the Christian faith, served as lay readers for Sunday worship services, and grew through opportunities to serve the church and the community. They also held fundraisers for the Morris Interfaith Food Pantry, and will join other youth of the church on a mission trip to Boston in June, where they will volunteer at an urban community garden and food pantry.

The United Methodist Church in Madison is located at 24 Madison Avenue, at the corner of Drew University. Beginning Sunday, June 17, the Family Worship Service will be at 9:30 AM.
