The 2009-2010 academic year begins on Tuesday, September 8th with all schools opening as scheduled and enrollment exceeding 5,600 students. To date, the Livingston Public Schools have hired 41 certificated staff members to carry out the LPS' mission - empowering all to learn, create, contribute and grow.

LPS provided these new staff members with an intensive three day orientation. Not only did the staff have an opportunity to meet each other, but they also spent time with their principals and members of the administration learning about the Livingston school district and its mission and protocol.
