Thursday, June 14, 2012 • 3:37pm

The Berkeley Heights Police Department proudly presents a newly formed program entitled “Coffee with Cops.” This program is designed to be a means of communication between residents and Township Police Officers. “Coffee with Cops” will offer our Township residents an informal setting to ask questions or voice their concerns pertaining to quality of life issues while casually speaking with officers from the department.

Officers from the Berkeley Heights Police Department will be available to answer questions pertaining to law enforcement during the first "Coffee with Cops" event which is to be held on Saturday, June 16th from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Goodman’s Restaurant and Deli located at 400 Springfield Avenue in the Township. Residents are encouraged to stop by and speak with an officer from the department. General questions may be asked, as well as specifics pertaining to certain neighborhoods where residents live.

The Berkeley Heights Police Department is planning to host the "Coffee with Cops" events on several occasions periodically through the year at different locations in the Township. For additional information, please contact Patrolman Nicholas Franks at (908) 464-1111 ext. 2041.
