Westfield Blue Devils lose to Hunterdon Central Red Devils

On Saturday, September 29, the Hunterdon Central Red Devils played the Westfield High School Blue Devils in an action-packed game of football. The game took place at Gary Kehler field in Westfield.
Hunterdon scored the first points of the afternoon and ended the first quarter with a score of 14-7. Both teams continued scoring throughout second quarter. With just 19 seconds left, Hunterdon scored a touchdown, making the score before halftime 14-28 with Hunterdon in the lead.
Hunterdon Central won the game 49 to 14. This was Westfield's fourth loss a row. The next Blue Devils game will be away against the Union High School Farmers.
