PATERSON, NJ - Newark Central quarterback Taji Williams threw three touchdown passes to lead Newark Central over Eastside, 19-10, on Saturday, according to a story on nj.com.
Newark Central jumped out to a 13-0 lead. But Eastside cut the gap down to 13-10 at halftime. Williams' third TD toss put the game away in the fourth quarter.
It was the season opener for thre Ghosts, who finished 5-5 last year.
