Westfield's Bohemian Raspberry Holds its Grand Opening

WESTFIELD, NJ—What do you get when you cross a gourmet coffee shop with a trendy self-serve frozen yogurt store? Something for everyone, it turns out.
Bohemian Raspberry, an independent, one-of-a-kind café on South Avenue East held its official grand opening today, giving away café mochas in the morning and offering discounts on its fresh fruit smoothies, frozen yogurt and soft serve ice cream in the afternoon. 100 percent of the day’s sales will be donated to the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center for ovarian cancer research.
Menu items at Bohemian Raspberry include 16 flavors of self-serve frozen treats—including ice cream, yogurt and sorbet—with toppings galore, every kind of coffee and non-coffee drink you would expect at a coffee shop—including coffee frappes, espresso specialties and plain, good coffee—as well as lavish pastries from Balthazar.
“I like this better than any other frozen yogurt place,” said Donna Vasel of Westfield, who was there that day with her daughter, Kelly.
“I like the cake batter and the thin mint cookie flavors,” added 10-year-old Eliana Cestero of Westfield.
Bohemian Raspberry is located at 219 South Avenue East in Westfield, NJ.
