Fanwood Rescue Squad receives $1,000 donation from Chelsea Senior Living

FANWOOD, NJ - The Fanwood Rescue Squad received a donation of $1,000 from Chelsea Senior Living following the annual Chelsea golf outing which raises money for volunteer responders in communities where Chelsea has senior living communities.
The golf outing was held on September 25, 2012, at Fiddler's Elbow Golf Club, Bedminster, NJ. More than 80 golfers took part.
Participating in this year's golf outing for the squad was EMT Joan Lozowski, who won prizes for longest drive, closest to hole and lowest score among the women golfers. Squad Captain Tom Kranz was also on hand to accept the donation.
"We are very grateful for the work our volunteer responders do for all our residents," said Roger Bernier, President and COO of Chelsea Senior Living, which is based in Fanwood.
Chelsea Senior Living operates 15 assisted living communities in NJ, PA and NY.
The Fanwood Rescue Squad is an all-volunteer organization which depends almost exclusively on donations for its day to day operations.
