The Perks:
If you’ve got a
curious kid who loves to move, Gymboree is the class to take! I like the not-too-structured format, which
leaves ample time for free play and even a little bit of mommy
socializing. My 15 month-old is a huge
fan of the big, open space filled with colorful mats, tunnels, slides, balls,
and more. His favorite parts (aside from
just climbing around the room like a crazed little monkey) are the parachute
games and the bubbles. He actually sits
still for this - amazing! Gymboree in
Gymboree is great
for building confidence, coordination, making friends (for baby and mommy!) and
BEST OF ALL….it guarantees a lengthy afternoon nap!!!
If you call ahead you can schedule a free trial class….so
decide for yourself before you hand over your check.
The Poops:
Of course, there
will be days when your child will spend the entire 45 minutes chasing an orange
ball around the room and refuse to do anything else….Gee,
I could’ve done this at home!
We tried out a Gymboree Music class at this location, as well. It was a bit too “tame” for my son. Pick the class that suits your little one’s personality!
Grown-ups, you must wear socks. If you forget, you will have to buy a pair or leave!
