Director Howard Hawks cemented the image of the hard boiled detective genre in the mind of America with this 1946 film-noir classic.  Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall ooze attitude and their chemistry together still sizzles 66 years later.  Action, intrigue, murder, and betrayal - this film has it all!
  
The movie is being shown in the Assembly Room of the Main Library at 250 Broadway.  Start time is 5:30.
