Spirit of the Arts Foundation is delighted to announce the wonderful and generous bands for the Airport Market on August 11.

Fresh out of college we have the wonderful duo, Ampersand who will be donating a performance at the Market in the afternoon. 

“Ampersand  features the sound of Chris Hallberg on the acoustic guitar and Nicole Pieri on lead vocals with an eclectic mix of Alternative, Alt Rock, Country, and Coffeehouse-style acoustic covers. Watch out for their "acoust-ified" pop remakes. Previously known to haunt the TCNJ campus circuit, they are now making their Sussex debut. " 

Next, we have a wonderful young band from Sussex County called “The Core”

The Core consists of High School musicians who just simply love to play.  Kyle Grunn, the band manager said  "We are a 5 piece band based out of Sparta New Jersey. We play classic rock to metal music and have been together about 3 years.   The band members are Jeff Grunn, Kyle Grunn, Megan Wilson, Jon Socci and Jimmy Socci."

Spirit of the Arts Foundation is a New Jersey nonprofit organization partnering with the Airport to bring bargains and family enjoyment to the community. 

The community is invited to stop by on Saturday, August 11 from 9 AM – 3 PM and support this market.  The vendors will be there with all sorts of great items for sale…things you cannot find in the stores and supermarkets.   Great re-use items can be had as well as art and hand made products and lots of bargains.  Pull up your beach chair and enjoy some music.   This is the best free event in the neighborhood.  The community is welcome to participate as vendors by contacting Sandy 862-266-9726 or 973-875-2068.  Table fees are very reasonable.

A special thanks to the town of Wantage, the FAA and the Sheriff’s department for all of the help they have provided in getting this market going.  Most of all, thanks to the community for the warm welcome in bringing this market back to the Sussex Airport.
