About one year ago (December 2, 2010), the deadliest forest fire in Israeli history broke out on the Carmel Mountain Range near Haifa.  The fire spread rapidly and burned for nearly four days, claiming the lives of 44 people, severely damaging homes and property and consuming an estimated five million trees.

Jewish National Fund (JNF) has worked tirelessly to repair the damage caused by this disaster.

Please join us on February 6th to hear a firsthand update from Fire Chief Boaz Rakia regarding the status of the Carmel Forest one year after the fire.
