Elaine Dunn of New Jersey Bear Education and Resource (BEAR) Group will present “How to Become a Bear-Smart Community.”  She will speak about the non-aggressive nature of black bears, what to do when you see a bear, and what you can do to keep bears from frequenting your neighborhood.  Keeping garbage in bear-resistant containers and bringing in your bird feeders are among the best ways to discourage bears from becoming a nuisance. Free, call the Library at (908) 464-9333 to register.
