The GenWealth Group will host its 1^st Annual Charity Event:  GenWealth Walks for Hope in support of breast cancer research.  
 
Join us for a 3-mile walk through beautiful Maplewood.  100% of the funds raised by GenWealth Walks for Hope will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF) (www.bcrfcure.org).   Founded in 1993 by Evelyn Lauder (of the Estee Lauder Companies), the mission of BCRF is to achieve prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime by providing critical funding for clinical research at leading medical centers worldwide, and increasing awareness about good breast health. Currently, over 90 cents of every dollar donated to BCRF, goes to breast cancer research and awareness programs.
 
The idea for GenWealth Walks for Hope began when breast cancer affected the family of our own, Kimberly DiBlasi.  In September, 2011, Kim’s mom (Sandra D’Ascoli) was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer.  Our aim is to not only support Kim and her mom with her ongoing battle, but to inspire women in our local community to be proactive about prevention.  
 
Participants in GenWealth Walks for Hope will receive the following complimentary package:

• Guided 3-mile walk around Maplewood
• Pink team T-Shirt
• A Digital Pedometer
