Tuesday, August 14, 2012 • 6:30am
Can you believe in just a few short weeks, the summer will be over? Do take time to enjoy doing whatever it is you like to do...
And do let me know if you’ve discovered any new or great places to eat, snack, dine, or gather with friends and family for a cup of coffee, slice of delicious pie, generous piece of cake, or freshly baked Danish pastry.
Walk Around Wine Tasting benefiting Impact OASIS (Ongoing Autistic Success in Society)
As guests tour the historic OASIS farm, Executive Chef Nicholas Harary will be onsite to guide and educate guests about six wines which were hand selected by Nicholas. Servers will pass a variety of hors d' oeuvres made with fresh produce harvested from OASIS fields. Guests will have the opportunity to order wine (individual bottles and cases). Restaurant Nicholas will donate 15% of all wine purchased back to Impact OASIS. Each couple will leave with a copy of the award winning cookbook, Restaurant Nicholas: The Cookbook.
Impact OASIS is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote inclusion and acceptance of autistic individuals into their local communities by establishing farm centers that provide meaningful work, peaceful and healthy residences, and community interaction.
