John Kim, Pharm.D., FAARFM received his Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University.  He completed his fellowship training in Anti-Aging and Regenerative/Functional Medicine (FAARFM) from American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine(A4M).

What is Compounding?

According to Dr. Kim,  “With a physician’s consent, a compounding pharmacist can change the strength of a medication, alter its form to make it easier for the patient to ingest, and add flavor to it to make it more palatable.  The pharmacist may also prepare the medication using several unique delivery systems, such as rapid dissolving tablets or lozenges, a lollipop, or a transdermal gel.
