SUMMIT, NJ - Members of the Summit community, ranging from elementary school children to High School alumni, gathered on Friday night, October 5th, for the annual Friday Night Lights football game.  Local staples such as Towne Deli and La Pasteria were on hand to distribute their beloved cuisine to the spirited crowd.

Summit High School Junior, Marissa Tarishuck told TheAlternativePress.com, “Towne Deli does such a great job every year preparing food for all us High Schoolers.  I love it.”

In addition to the popular food, the Summit Boosters had Summit High School's signature apparel for sale, from throw blankets to sweatshirts.

Investors Bank field is the location of Friday Night Lights every year, and bank employees had a strong presence at the event, as well. Representatives handed out rally towels throughout the night so all of the fans could express their spirit.

People of all ages enjoyed themselves, whether it was eating a pulled pork sandwich from Towne Deli or throwing the football with their dad.

Summit resident Amy Macdonald said, “I look forward to Friday Night Lights every year, and I love Towne Deli too. It is a really good way to get the year started off.”
