Thank You - Investors Bank!

To the Editor:
With another Independence Day Celebration behind us, I think it's important to thank everyone who made the fireworks on South Street possible. Just a few years ago the New Providence fireworks display was cancelled due to the Borough's budgetary constraints. Once the business community became aware of the problem, its members stepped up to the plate and worked hard to find a solution. For the past three years the New Providence Business and Professional Association has hosted the celebration on South Street with the generous support of Investors Bank and its branch manager, Antonio Dei Medici. What a great corporate citizen!
I'd also like to thank our Independence Day Celebration chairman Ted Kapuscinski of Kapuscinski and Luongo Architects; Michelle Brugger of Martial Arts for Life, who is the President of the New Providence Business and Professional Association; the New Providence Amateur Radio Club, Our Lady of Peace Church, The New Providence Police Department, Fire Department, and First Aid Squad.
Additionally I'd also like to thank Don Murphy of New Providence fuel, Scott McGrath of McGrath's Paint & Hardware, Friendly's, Strawberry Fields, Zita's Ice Cream, The South Street Market and M&M Liquors for their help and participation.
Last but certainly not least I would like to thank Joe and Pam Steiner work tirelessly to bring our events to life.
There is, indeed, great truth to the expression, “It takes a village.”
