The Berkeley Heights Office of Emergency Management wants to remind all residents that there is a ban on travel for all but emergency vehicles. There are many trees and wires down in the Township so travel is hazardous.

The clean-up has started with emergency services working through the night. Please treat all down wires as LIVE and stay clear of them.

Only Police, Fire, Rescue, and DPW vehicles and personnel should be on the road until further notice. The safest place for our residents is in their homes.
