Message from Millburn Mayor Sandy Haimoff: November 8, 2012

Sandy Haimoff, Mayor, Township of Millburn

Thursday, November 8, 2012 • 12:19pm

We have asked for specific street by street information and have sent Mark Jones, Vice President of JCP&L a list of each street that still has an issue.

Today Hartshorn School and the streets on that circuit are being worked on and power is estimated to be restored by this evening. Hobart Gap Road is currently being worked on, according to Mr. Jones.

Coniston and North Road are scheduled to have work done later today. Tree crews are being sent to Canterbury and Stewart to work on trees with wires entangled.  There are 20 crews in and around the Township working on equipment that directly affects power to Millburn Township.

We are now getting periodic updates from JCP&L throughout the day and will provide updates to our residents via CodeRed and the Township website.

To all those that continue to deal with power outages and the hardships of this storm you are in my thoughts and we are working hard to get life back to normal for everyone.
