A Thank You from Karen Schneider

To the Editor:
When my mother, Lois Schneider, passed away on August 4, the community outpouring was a true source of comfort. Your heartwarming words, kind notes and wonderful tributes are a testament to the life my mother led and to the person she was. It is clear to me that she has left an indelible mark on all of us as an admired community leader, philanthropist, respected business woman and visionary.
When she opened her doors in 1976 as the founder of Lois Schneider Realtor, my mother's vision was simple: one office with just one mission -- superb service and an unwavering commitment to the communities her company serves. This single idea carried her well for over 35 years. I am extremely indebted to the wonderful Lois Schneider Realtor team for its continued dedication to the core values instilled by my mother, and I look forward to carrying on this tradition.
